1- I was wondering how much of a deductible i had on my insurance to cover me on losing my Mercury 250, 4 stroke and how much a new one would cost me.
2- Then I got a call and a person said they had found an engine laying in a ditch next to the road, I went and found it. It was a Mercury 150, not mine but it looked as it had been hit a a few vehicles too.
3- Then trying to even remotely figure out how the engine fell off. It seemed where they had rigged my boat they had forgotten to tighten up to bolts to the jackplate and that was the reason....this part is kind of fuzzy by this time I was beginning to wake up.
I hope this dream does not come to fruition........ I am going to check the bolts today for sure.

I had the same dream a couple of nights ago. I took it to mean if I didn't go fishing soon the motor is going to rot off the boat.

Now, that a positive way too look at it.....

I aced Psych 101 in college so I am well qualified to analyze the hidden meaning of your dream, for an appropriate fee of course. Trust me, you have serious issues.

Could have been worse

You could have found in your dream that your boat was full of all the fish you have previously caught, and they were lined up like a choir
of "billy bass" singing show tunes banana

Put a fan on the back and use a generator to power it. I suppose you should also put in some scupper holes so that your nads will always be soaking wet to get the true authentic experience.

Dreaming of boats means you just missed out on an opportunity in your life. Did you recently miss out on an opportunity? It also means you have a top notch romantic life. Do either one of these fit you? I always google my dreams to see what they mean and it’s usually right. Not that I’m a weirdo or anything but it’s interesting.

Usually, in that scenario, when I start dreaming about how much insurance is going to pay it occurs to me: "hey, this is just a stupid dream, my boat is fine." - and the dream ends.

Dreams don't predict the future. They reflect what is on your mind, probably something from the past rather than the future.
