..I have no idea why I dreamed this but, I was pulling my boat home from an tournament and when i got home, I looked back at the boat and saw that my engine had fell off. Here I was starting to remember when and where I had lost my engine to my boat.
1- I was wondering how much of a deductible i had on my insurance to cover me on losing my Mercury 250, 4 stroke and how much a new one would cost me.
2- Then I got a call and a person said they had found an engine laying in a ditch next to the road, I went and found it. It was a Mercury 150, not mine but it looked as it had been hit a a few vehicles too.
3- Then trying to even remotely figure out how the engine fell off. It seemed where they had rigged my boat they had forgotten to tighten up to bolts to the jackplate and that was the reason....this part is kind of fuzzy by this time I was beginning to wake up.
I hope this dream does not come to fruition........ I am going to check the bolts today for sure.

I would not go anywhere near that boat for at least the next four weeks!

When was the last time you changed the lower unit gear lube?
Your brain could be reminding you to do so, if you haven't done it this year yet.

A 250 fell off and the motor you found is a 150. The reality is that is about how much insurance is going to pay.

During April and May ... not fishing! I can't do that... I might need to also check my insurance policy on my boat and lower my deductions.

That might be it, but I waiting on getting 50 hours on the engine first. I tend to use my trolling motor 80% of the time which really keeps my main engine time way down. But it has been a year since I have had it. Good thought!

You know i did have a stomach ache earlier in the day from eating pizza.......

Yep, that might be the results, going to check my policy and see if my deductible are low enough to not worry about it.

I had the same dream a couple of nights ago. I took it to mean if I didn't go fishing soon the motor is going to rot off the boat.

Yamaha engines don't fall off during your sleep like Mercury engines do.

Since you have that one 150 for free, buy another 150, and now you have 300 HP. Plus, you have more motors to fall off.

That 150 had been run over and was just a lump of metal when I saw it in my dream.
