This third week of April has seen some horrible tragic events throughout my lifetime, like truly horrible things seem to happen on or around the 3rd week of April or so. Certainly some are "planned" that way, but many other horrors just seem to occur on around this week of 4/20.

Here is a list off the top of my head (with some google for help with days of the week)

4/15:
-Boston Marathon Bombing (2013) a Monday

4/16
-Virginia Tech shooting (2007) a Monday

4/17
-West, Tx explosion (2013) a Wednesday

4/18
-oddly nothing seems to have happened significantly bad on this day in my lifetime

4/19
-Waco Davidian Compound event (1993) a Monday
-OKC bombing (1995) a Wednesday

4/20
-Hitler born 1889 (not my lifetime but is admittedly related to the next next...) a Saturday by the way
-Colombine school shooting (1999) a Tuesday
-Deepwater Horizon fire (2010) a Tuesday
- **depending on your politics you could add the Chauvin verdict (2021) Tuesday**

It's not even the number of bad things but it just seems like there is a strange concentration of truly horrible tragedies around the third week of April, especially on Monday and Tuesday. Given that some like the Colombine shooting and the OKC bombing were planned for those days purposely, it still seems like a really unfortunate time of year.

Anyone else notice this? Or is my conspiracy theory gene working overtime?
