Got a ext saying my Amazon package was “attempted delivery” and now ready for pickup at a post office (no address given). There is NO Ring camera footage of an attempted delivery. And why wasn’t my package delivered all the way to my door??? Tracking info is not helpful either.Sends me on an endless loop.

Found my package at the Farmers Branch PO. They said, “well it must have been marked delivered before it went out [whatever that means]. Plus its a little heavy and long.”

Uh- its a roll of window screen. The shipper paid a shipping charge, which I pay for through the cost of the item. The expectation is that it is shipped to my home. Not part of the way here. There is not an option for the PO to be lazy and not follow through on that deal. They will put it back out for delivery tomorrow.

Contact Amazon and let them solve your problem.

I ordered a knife that was said to be delivered by usps last friday that wasn't. The third party seller is mailing a new one.

Go online and file a complaint or call your local post office.
It could have been any number of things that kept them from delivering it. Animal out to they forgot to deliver it that day and got back to the post office and scanned it as attempted. If you look at the tracking info it should tell you the time they attempted it. If it was early in the morning or late in the afternoon it will be a clue that they never stopped at your house to attempt it.

Our mail lady won’t get out her truck to deliver anything. We have called numerous times on her and they won’t do anything. The only way we get our stuff from her is to put a big Rubbermaid container beside the road for her to dump stuff in.

My weekday USPS mail lady is great, not only bringing any package to the front door, but any mail that day instead of leaving it at the mail box up by the road (about 4 football fields away). Weekend delivery guy is sketchy. He has scanned things delivered when they are still in his truck. The USPS Informed Delivery and mail system has been a mess, more than usual lately. I rely on it to know when to open my gate to the property for the package delivery. The weekend dude has even left "could not deliver, gate closed" slips in the mail box when the gate was open. The third time I called the local postmaster about it, things got better with the weekend deliveries. Hated to file complaints. Never know how the person will respond. Like complaining to the cook, next time you never know what is added to your food.

But, UPS has been just as bad. Had one package delivered yesterday. The status yesterday morning said that the package was still in transit, never showed that it had been received by the local UPS location, never showed out for delivery. Guy left it hanging from the gate. It was a prescription refill from the VA.

They scanned “attempted delivery” at 5:10 pm. I have a Ring camera and it picked up nothing. Will wait to see what happens today before I go all Karen on them,

Once they get enough problems with the USPS they will go back to UPS and their own delivery vehicles.

What time does he usually deliver. I have not worked for 4 months, recently retired but they do stay out that late if its at the end of the route. If not, that may have been him scanning it when he got back to the office.
They can tell exactly where the package was scanned if they are willing to look. They can tell if its at the curb, other side of the street, halfway up your walk or on your doorstep. Its GPS mapping.

There is usually a way to solve problems.
They hate Congressmen if thats a clue.
