I have a 2019 Shimano Metanium DC and it has been a great reel so far, I use it for Texas rigs mostly.... but after probably a month of using it when I was feeling it in it got feeling really Geary and dry to so oiled and greased it but it didn’t go away.... is there anything else I can do to fix this is or is it just a normal feel In a Shimano micro module system?

Idk if this is the right place but I have one too and I’d be interested in selling, $425 or trade for a Daiwa Steez Morethan PE. It is in great shape, has a full spool of 50lb. Maxcuatro and is as smooth as butter. I can send photos if you’d like. The finish is in great shape, I baby my reels. I just don’t want it anymore as I think the DC braking is a bit of a gimmick and would rather have a conventional reel. Thanks.

Replace the aluminum gear with a brass one, its a known issue. One of the reasons the new '20 Metanium MGL now has brass gears.
