So I was given this camper that was hand built from the ground up by my dad and brother. It sat up in East Texas for years. But originally it was pretty cool. The front portion would hold a four wheeler and when removed, a slide out held the queen bed that covered where the four wheeler was. But that was then. We structured it up with plywood and drug it 300 miles to here. My plan is to build over the four wheeler area and make it a camper without the four wheeler option. Lots of options going over in my mind from skin to layout. Anyway, here's a couple photos before and now.

Bunks aren't a bad idea. I only have a 68" width, so they'd have to go lengthways front to back unless I build out that section and add some width.. The back of the camper already has bottom cabinets with a countertop that's in good shape. Floor and inside walls are good to the front. Outside walls will need to have the luan removed and replaced in some areas. I really need beds for me, my wife and son. I'm thinking some sort of fold up system for sleeping and then they go up and make room for a table and chairs set up..
Cool project! Not sure where you are, but I have a new short queen mattress we took out of our RV. You're welcome to it if it will fit into your floor plan. Also have a couple of RV leveling scissor jacks. Glen Rose area here

Thanks for the generous offer ReelBusy. Unfortunately, I'm at the other end of Texas around 350 miles away. I hope to get started soon. My current thought is to have two platforms that lay down and meet in the middle. On that I'll place a queen air mattress (which I already have). But before I even get there, I need to add on to the front, repair the bad luan and then seal it all up. I'll post pictures as soon as I get started. I just received an order for a swing that has to be done before a retirement in May. Once I get that out of the way, I should be able to get started. But again, thanks for the offer.
