Going camping there with the family I have 2 young kids that I’m gonna get set up fishing has anyone got any info on how it’s been out there are the crappie up or the bass I doubt there is any sand bass or stripper but just wondering

I was at Whitney last weekend, but did not make it to the state park. I saw lots of largemouth bass hanging around just off the bank. Nothing big, mostly 1 to 3 pounds. The sunfish have not moved up yet. I saw a couple of cat fishing anglers and they did not catch anything. I don’t have a report on crappie.

I was fishing mainly for carp and buffalo and did really well. Good luck and let us know how you do.
