Used boat with existing Garmin Striker 7sv on the console. I'm upgrading the console unit to an Echomap.

Then, moving the Striker to the bow. What are my options for trolling motors with Spot Lock that will communicate with the Striker and keep down/side scan? I was looking at Ulterra/Ultrex with the US2.

Thanks in advance!

There would be no "communicate" between a Minnkota and Garmin.
You would have room on the bottom of a US2 version motor to attach a Garmin transducer of any type.
The US2 is a 83/200 kHz 2D-only transducer.

A Garmin Force would be compatible with a Garmin.

That confirms what I was thinking, after seeing conflicting data online.

Thanks for the feedback. Now I have some thinking to do. smile
