I bought a jar a couple of years ago while I was staying at Lake Fork Marina during one of my Tawakoni trips. Kinda forgot about it since my channel cat go to lake was shut down by Lumient (Squaw Creek). Had a couple of hours yesterday after work so I decided to make a quick trip to a local lake just to decompress for the day. All I can say is I should have brought bigger gear than my slip cork rigs for crappie.
Landed 9 fish, and broke off 3 in a couple of hours (6 lb test was a bad idea)
#6 hook, small split shot, under a slip cork worked great on the first drop off from the bank.
