Good bait for bream and other panfish. Good idea, but i use something less messy for bream and panfish  Maybe not on a hook but chunk a bunch into the water to start up feeding?

When hunted near Johnson City they were thick some years but not others. I think they cycle. I have seen a lot fewer crane flies this year and only one skeeter. No chiggers bites yet.
