Whut? Are you on the pot again?  No way brother! I am high on my love of life and jesus! *And maybe steel reserve. Its true! They had the brass to go to media and tell the public to reduce power usage due to the cold!?!? We are going to be in trouble this summer if this "weather" has them near the brink.

Windmills must have stopped turning. I know a certain Senator who might say that. Clearly its a systemic issue well beyond wind mills not turning. Something is happening here that we are not being told.

If they start wanting to conserve the energy in this Tx heat, there's gonna be people falling over left and right. The climate change loons want us to believe that "rolling blackouts" are the wave of the future. Just like the left coasters. The media will push this as the new norm. As long as we have masks and some candles to read by, we should be good. Lot of truth in this statement. All in the name of climate change and global warming. This is just the beginning. So they claim many power plants are shutdown for maintenance....could be I suppose. Still, ERCOT swung and missed another.

I just got a letter from Center Point Energy: Dear Valued Customer:
We filed for an incremental adjustment to the price you pay for natural gas service.* This interim rate adjustment, proposed to become effective May 3, 2021, recovers the money we invested in our natural gas distribution system, which provides you with safe and reliable service.

800-376-9663 (Beaumont) or 800-259-5544 (East Texas) They want to add $2.xx per month to the customer charge for the millions of people on their service.  I wish my company could charge all of my customers monthly just to be my customers!

They have a $20. surcharge, you pay each month, regardless of your useage........ Example, during the summer, my gas usage is about $17.00 but I have to pay the $20.00 as well... So that makes my bill $37.00................ If your bill is, say $45.00...... You still pay the $20.00.. Which makes it $65.00...................... I don't mind paying the Minimum of $20..... But why do I have to pay both.......????? But, I will say this...... My gas, never went off during the freeze-a-thon...............
