SK: What size hook are you using to catch them shellcrackers? The lake I fish fish PK is so infested with them it's hard to catch a crappie. I find I can catch them if I use a little NO 8 hook. After I catch half dozen or so of the perch I start catching crappie. Those shellcrackers and bluegills are much more aggressive and don't have to look the bat over good before hitting it like the crappie do.
