kind of new to crappie fishing but definitely wana try it out- is cottonwood creek any good for crappie? its coming off od Lewisville i think
I've found them in Stewart Creek also off Lewisville so they should be in Cottonwood Creek as well. Are you planning to walk to it from the neighborhood or what? I took my boat into Stewart but it took me almost an hour to get from the closest ramp to the mouth of the creek because of the marina no wake zones, flooded timber area, and shallows outside the creek that I had to be careful with. When I revisit Stewart I'm going to just park in the neighborhood near by and walk there through the woods.
