 Casting Reel For Light Baits

I'm looking for a casting reel to throw baits ranging from 1/8-3/8oz. Is there anything decent for $100 or less?

Buy a use Revo STX on eBay. Then send it to southwest parts and service to get cleaned for $25. It will come back like a new reel and will cast light weight lures better than anything.

I cast 1/8oz and 3/16oz on my Lews Speed Spool LFS, which is $100, with no problems. I find the rod is more important than the reel for light baits.

I find the rod is more important than the reel for light baits. This and using a lighter line will help improve cast distance for lighter lures.

I cast little square bills with a Shimano Scorpion and a Shimano Scorpion Metanium MG. Usually with 12 or 15 # test.
Bought the metanium's off ebay for $100 each. But the shipping out of Japan is expensive.

My best reel for skipping or casting really light baits is a lews speed spool. U wont go wrong. I have 300 dollar reels and i goto the lews when i need to skip or cast a light bait. Think it cost 120 dollars

An Ambassedeur 4600c with 8lb. Test is hard to beat. And is well within a $100 budget.
