I havent read much up on it at all, but if they could do online multiplayer small tournaments that are like 15mins long or something, it could have potential

I never said video games are good for society, did I? You said “video games are a complete waste of time and a loser revenue stream.” My response to the “loser revenue stream” comment is, it’s verifiably false. If it were true, every sports league in the world wouldn’t have licensing agreements with video games publishers. The NFL hasn’t licensed its league and teams for 25 years because its a money loser. These are not opinions. They’re facts.

Saying they’re a “complete waste of time” is also an opinion. They’re just like anything else in the world and parents need to parent. But video games have done a lot of good for people, just like TV and the Internet have. Too much of anything can be bad, but you clearly don’t understand video games if you think they’re 100% a waste of time and don’t add revenue.

Screen time for kids falls on the parents. End of story. Everything you said is an opinion, and it most of it comes off as uninformed and hating on them because you think they’re valueless and a waste of time.
