Definitely a good one. Not really pulling for either team but great defense and ball movement by both teams. Bet Gonzaga didn't expect it to be that close.

2016 final in Houston was very similar. North Carolina hits a shot with about 4 seconds left to tie it up and force OT. Villanova takes the ball down court and puts up a long shot at the buzzer to win the national championship.

Laetrner’s shot was more freakish; but it was Duke; so not a fan of that play. There’s something magical about last night’s three going off the glass and then in.

I don’t know about the greatest...but that was a well played college basketball game.
Both teams should be proud of how they competed. It’ll NEVER beat The Shot. Big time players, from big time college programs, playing in a big time game and nobody did it better than Christian Laettner With two seconds remaining in OT, defending 1991 national champions Duke trailed 103–102. Grant Hill threw a pass the length of the court to Laettner, who hit a baby j for a 104–103 win. In 2004 Sports Illustrated deemed it the greatest college basketball game of all time. Top three with Villanova’s being in the mix. But Laettner’s is the gold standard.
