Going to McKinney for baseball tournament. Thinking I may have half a day to hire a guide.lewisville or lavon? To late to hire one now?

Will be there next weekend. Going to rangers game Friday night then baseball Saturday and Sunday. But should be in the morning or evening so should be able to go half a day

I may be wrong, but I don't know that there are any Bass guides on Lavon.
Contact Carey Thorn at Lavon if Dannie’s not available. He’s a good guy (took his boat to Houston a few years ago when it flooded to help out) and knows Lavon. Most of his guiding is for sandbass but he knows the lake. If he’s still guiding, he’ll be able to put you on some bass, I’ll bet. He used to post a lot on this site’s Sandbass Forum and he might still - I haven’t been there for a long time.

Not sure about the NFPL schedule, but you may want to give Biggs a call. He and Dillard are the only 2 bass guides I know of for Lewisville.

Ray Roberts looks to be a hour away. Fork 1:20 a way. Maybe head to fork idk. I was trying to fish close.

Save your cash and fish a 1/2 day at Towne lake, might even be where your tournaments are. Also, try A&D Buffalo for wings and Philly Steak goodness.

Champs will be on Roberts so expect another 240 boats + other spring time guys.
Doubt Dannie would be open a weekend in April for half a day but you never know, pm me if you want his number.

A&D is on on McDonald St. just north of the corner of Industrial and McDonald. Small place, take out only right now. Towne Lake is Right off Hwy 75 and Parkview. South east corner. If you plan on fishing there know it is Tough, shallow and mossy. There are some big fish that live in there but it has constant pressure. The biggest I have pulled out of there is 6lbs.
