I’m curious if I could get personal feedback from owners of the Garmin trolling motor. I don’t generally trust online reviews on retail websites because of the fake reviews. I put more stock in what I get from places like this. Hopefully some of you guys have been using the most current versions of the motor for a little while and can give me your feedback. I appreciate it!

Had mine for better part of a year now and no issues - my first foot control as I've always used hand controls because I have to just use my left foot so the wireless foot pedal is fairly compact and allows me to move around the deck it as necessary. I use the remote for power but the pedal for everything else. Power is pretty impressive - moves my 21' legend right at 3.8 mph. Very quiet also.

I've had mine and a year and to date its the best piece of hunting or fishing equipment i've ever spent money on. The foot pedal made it an entire year on 2 AA lithium batteries. Will run my aluminum at 4.7 mph on 24 volts!

have one on a 95 champion 202, love it. anchor lock is really nice since I fish alone mostly, much easier to retie or get a drink etc.
switched to all garmin graphs and livescope, if you get livescope the force has a notch in the mount that it will fit in to protect it when not deployed.

If you know folks, go for a ride on their boats and try the different brands out. My fishing partner just picked up a new boat with a Force and it is my least favorite of the big 3, not counting MG.

I’ve only used mine for 3 weeks now but I’m happy with the garmin force. It’s much quieter then my ultrex and more powerful. I did break a skeg and can’t decide if that is a good design or not. But 20 bucks and back in business. My pedal is hard wired so I don’t deal with batteries.

I believe it is a great investment . I have not experienced any issues . I do not use the foot control at all . I handle the boat with the remote . Remote has very nice navigation features . Is very powerful and seems to run longer then my older minn kota. Bottom line its worth every dollar.

I currently have a 36v Minn Kota Terrova with iPilot. It does a great job on all aspects, except I’m not in love with the foot pedal. I would like to have a more traditional feeling foot pedal. I have changed to Garmin up front because of panoptix (and I’m not a two graphs up front guy). Those two things have caused me to consider the investment to go over to a Garmin TM and then sell my Terrova on here. I don’t know anybody who has the Garmin TM on their boat to be able to test drive it.

Garmin also has a new transducer that should come with the TM. Being able to integrate with your graph should bring out the most of your fishing experience. I run all Garmin graphs at front and console. with this setup you can also control the TM from the graph. I am not sure the force will give u the foot petal feel your looking for. I just don't use the foot petal that much. Do not really need to do that. I am extremely happy with the remote . I also like that my front deck has no additional wires or petal to clutter up things .
