Caught this today on Ray Hubbard. Caught it on a live sunfish, boy was it a fighter. Released it. My brother is 37 pounds and this fish was heavier than him.

1. Where on Hubbard?
2. How deep?
3. Bait was live sunfish but on R&R or what?
4. how big was the sunfish?

I live on Hubbard and I have not been able to get one any where near that size.

The sunfish was around 3 1/2 inches. Rigged under a bobber about 20 inches with a circle hook. It was caught on a rod and reel using 20 pound line. we were fishing on private property, my girlfriends dad lives on the lake. We tried many different bait fish including shad, carp minnows, and others but they seemed to like sunfish the best.They were not hitting off the bottom so i decided to switch to bobber and it seemed to work. Thanks for the comments guys.
