It was another great trip with excellent weather in the low 80's. Water Temp. was in the low 70's by mid-day. Bass were at full spawn on all the humps, islands and bushes. This was one of the best quality fish trips I have ever made to Oviachic, MX.. The bait that caught the most this year that the boys from Tenn. brought was the A-Rig. The rest of us used lizards, spinner baits, and brush hogs. The guys from Phoenix, AZ. had the larger fish with several 7's and 8's. It's good to be able to live so close and fish the lake a couple of times each month to keep up with the best areas. Each boat had an average of 120 fish each day with our best day at 169 Bass. Big 5 fish stringer came from the Phoenix guys with 35 lbs.. My boat had a 30 lb. stringer on Tuesday. We had 5 fish each day between 5 and 6 lbs.; but nothing over 7 lbs., for my boat. Counters were used in both boats and scales on the larger fish. No problems in Mexico or on the boarder. Looking forward to some of you guys to contact me for 2022 trips. Need to make more than one trip. Our cost was about $1,000 per person for the 11 day trip.

2 BOAT TOTALS FOR LARGER FISH:
- 987 Bass between 3 and 4 pounds.
- 301 Bass between 4 and 5 pounds.
- 58 Bass between 5 and 6 pounds.
- 12 Bass between 6 and 7 pounds.
- 5 Bass between 7 and 8 pounds.
- 2 over 8 pounds.
- About 320 small fish caught.

Some of the best fish:
