 Made the mistake of buying a NRX

Have several GLX rods and always thought how much better could a NRX possibly be. Picked up a new 853C JWR and paired it with a new Metanuim and it far exceeded my expectations. I just got in my second 894C JWR. Paired with a steez they are featherlight with backbone.

Same. I bought an 852s 2 weeks ago and now it’s all I want to fish with.

If you ever need warranty service I hope you fair better than I did. I've heard that warranty replacement has been slow this past year. So has production of new rods as well thanks to covid. Not worried at all cause it aint like I dont have 2 dozen other rods to use in the mean time.

Not worried at all cause it aint like I dont have 2 dozen other rods to use in the mean time. I sent a rod to shimano to be replaced under the warranty the day after Christmas and still haven't gotten yet.

Good idea. I'll give them a call tomorrow morning. I can't imagine why it would take this long to replace it. Hopefully they have it.
