Who has one and do you use it as much as you thought you would. Asking because my better half made the decision that were getting one. Going to be a 20x20 with an extra 10' on the pad with gabled roof, fireplace, bar, bbq, griddle, and sink. My jaw dropped when I saw the price tag of $48k. Wish I had some stimulus checks to offset the costs.

All building materials and new appliances are going for a premium right now, if you can get them. That same job in 2019 would have cost $26-22K.

A five spot for a shot and a beer? And you wonder how we wound up here.

Not a bad price. I had one that size last year that got close to 80k. Cedar, comp shingles, stained concrete, stone counter tops, all stainless commercial sinks and appliances, commercial grill, stockpot burner, griddle, egg, copper gutters, fire pit, sofa swing, 75” tv, lighting, fans, moving existing sprinkler system, flower beds, propane plumbed and tank etc......

What I don't like about gazebo's is the enclosed roof/top heavy appearance; but if that's what my better half wanted......
If you are handy, have some decent tools, and have a good friend or three, you could put a DIY gazebo kit together in a weekend.

Yeah, our builder said he's done a few approaching $100k. Ours if going to have a back wall with stone work and stone work on the columns, granite counter tops, Blaze appliances, 110 and 220 power, tongue and groove ceiling, and who knows what else she wanted.

this one was probably around 65-70k including the deck I added, roof, grill/sink/granite cook station, outdoor fireplace. roof extension is all cedar and just the wood was a little over 8k 4 + yrs. ago, I added the deck with about 6k in wood (no labor on that), lynx grill I just removed retails for around 4,500.00 and putting in larger one that I ordered for 4,000.00.
now has a traeger timberline 1300 pellet grill and XL green egg.

none of it is cheap I am finding out.

go check out charred 380, I just bought the new grill from them and they do outdoor kitchens as well. very helpful with info. I went to the mckinney location

[censored] a concrete pad, plumbing, electrical, stone work and kitchen and it would be just as much as I'm spending now with someone else doing the labor.

If you are going to have a grill/smoker out there be sure to take into effect the prevailing winds so you don't 'smoke out' the patio. make sure they are vented right.

How often do you find snakes lounging on the deck being that close to the water?

I like outdoor kitchens, but I prefer them attached to the house, not freestanding like a gazebo.

She bought me a GLoomis NRX last week as a gesture of good faith. I told her I want 5 more.
