Just got off the phone with the nurse. No new news at this point. They are still waiting on the barium study to determine where the blockage is. Once that is complete they will then decide if surgery is necessary. He currently has a NG tube in place but they have not ordered any suctioning yet due to the study. (Suctioning would pull any stomach contents back out) They do have cardiology on standby if they determine surgery is necessary. This is a standard precaution on someone going to surgery with prior heart complications.
Latest news is he will probably be having surgery today.
Can’t tell you how much we appreciate everyone’s support and prayers even from people who probably have never even met my brother.

Danny is out of surgery. The blockage ended up being scar tissue and the old mesh from a previous hernia surgery that got tangled up in the intestines. Surgeon got everything out, straightened up and new larger and stronger mesh in place. The old goat came through it great. Now to rehab and get back to fishing. I know he is going to feel a thousand times better and can’t wait to share with him all of the comments from the great people of TFF.
