I don’t think I would ever admit to anyone I paid $350 for a restaurant steak.

My steaks at home are too good to spend that kind of money on one at a restaurant. The only exception is when I’m entertaining clients and the company is paying for it.

It matters not to me what people spend their money on.

I don’t think I have ever spent $350 for a steak, but I have spent in the hundreds, they are usually fantastic steaks and dinner is great... but it’s never THAT great. It’s more about the experience on dinners like that, I also prefer when my company is getting the bill also.

If you had the chance to have the BEST steak ever cut/cooked/etc... what would you pay?

I saw that place on the news last week they said it's the most expensive restaurant in Dallas.

I've bought some $100 price range steaks at really nice steakhouses before. As a treat. Special occasions. Almost every time I could definitely see where the money went. Fantastic meals...

I have to think there's a breaking point though. I don't know that a $350 Steak could be three and a half times better than the $100 one?? I think maybe people are paying to hang out with that weird gay pirate looking dude.

Sounds like he ate off the dollar menu

Exactly. The steak was good, but it was all about the experience. I would say the experience was worth $350, but the steak was not worth $350. It was cool to get to meet a world famous chef and watch him do his signature move.
