Looking for a new lake just for numbers. My son and I both have kayaks and looking for recommendations other than Eagle Mountain which is a tough lake for me anyway.
I had Bridgeport was a good lake for numbers just wanted to see if anyone had any advice.

Thanks

I’ve only been there once. It was later spring, lake was chocolate milk, pop-up thunderstorms, etc. We did pretty well out of kayaks, numbers-wise.

Launch at Wise County Park and paddle to the shore line to the left early in the morning and get the topwater bite. I nearly always catch a few there early. Then paddle west to the island and crank baits all the way around it , on the west side of that island it gets really skinny and this time of year it should be good and there wont be much boat traffic around there. Check out on line Navionics, you will see what I'm saying.

The Jacksboro Lakes are good for Kayaks and for numbers and the potential size. Lost Creek, the one with all the trees has a lot of Hydrilla and clear water, plus lots of fish. The old side has water willow and is full of fish as well with relative clear water.
