Has anyone had luck with ammo at all recently?? (Specifically 9mm or .22lr) I've been trying academy, but it's always stripped even on truck days minus some shotgun shells. also, Happy Friday!

I was in there about a month ago and just happened to be in the gun area when I realized they were about to bring more out.
I got in a line and was able the by up to 5 boxes of whatever they had at regular retail.
I wasn’t even in there for that but I got lucky-
Unless you have a reliable source luck is all I got-

Able Arms in Huntsville seemed to have plenty of Winchester white box 9mm.

It was a good chance there would have been nothing left to buy anyway. It was like feeding time in the piranha tank. I felt lucky to be a piranha that day-

I think things are getting slightly better. My local Academy has gone from no ammo on the shelf to ammo on the shelf that no one wants. Baby steps.
