Great video. I'm use to fishing for white bass in creeks. Your explanation on how you caught them in a river system is very informative. Thanks for the info. The Sabine has some real trophies in it's system.

Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Where do you guys put in? Is it a concrete ramp? I have been once before and we put in at river ridge. But it’s tough launch.

Thanks everyone. We put in at Mcfadden this trip. We like to fish around there. It's a small ramp and pretty far in the sticks. I recommend 4 wheel drive. You can go a little further south and launch at Yellow dog or Garrett park. They are both nicer ramps.

Yes I believe they catch them all up and down at certain times.

My grandparents have raised them since I was a kid. Most people sein the road ditches and stuff.

Waters finally getting down to a decent level. I know folks catch fish when its high but I just like it around 2000 CFS. It was 3500 last time I checked. Came up some with the rain we had this week. It was really flooded up for a while after the snow and heavy rains. I would think fish should be there. This last cold front might give them tight lips for a couple of days unless you have some of those baby crawfish.
