They was on beds at Palestine last weekend. So I’m sure they are doing their thing at Athens.

Caught them dirt shallow on flukes Sunday. Saw a few beds, but hard to see the fish with the rain.

Lots of beds. Few bass locked on .. not sure where they are though. Only thing I caught was a sunburn and one male on a bed.

Caught 3 on beds in Athens over the weekend.
Another week and it will be on like donkey Kong.

Males were on beds Saturday, they are just moving up, so many people they are very skittish. Aggravated a couple into biting just for fun. Observations from the last time I was there last year, the grass spraying combined with intense pressure has already done a number on that little lake. There is grass there but not even close to what it was unfortunately.

There is grass there but not even close to what it was unfortunately. Absolutely. I was there Saturday. I’d power pole down along the bank and just cast a Senko up and down the shallow bank cover. I caught fish all day. No overs. But a bunch of good unders and slots.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Thought that was you, we were the guys in an older Blue and White Ranger who talked to you as you were working a small fish by a boat house, I was on the back deck. It was a nice day to be out, too many people for me..
