Looking for a decent/clean motel within easy drive to Ray Roberts. Please list your recommendations based on those you have stayed in...hoping to go week of March 15-19.

4 Horsemen in Pilot Point is closest, can’t speak for condition but it looks like they’ve added more rooms since I was there last.

lonestar lodge /marina which used to be lantana lodge is on the water just west of town ( pilot Point ).

Nicest hotel would be found in Denton about 25 minutes away.

New holiday inn express just opened up in September. Doesn't appear to be boat friendly but you didn't ask about that

We always stay at the four horseman. Is it nice, nah, is it clean.... Debatable but we aren't there to sleep we go to fish and do so about day light to dark. We need a shower and a bed and we are good to go. Got the gas station next door for snacks and food and can launch in 10 minutes.

What is the name of the resort there?

Lone Star Lodge and Slye Ranch is the other one.

Only a matter of time until Aubrey has hotels; that place has exploded the last four years.

Denton is the closest if you want a newer place to stay. The others mentioned are the closest to the lake. Both State parks are very nice if you like to camp!
