FYI_ If you are making an order from TW and using standard shipping it will be a week before it gets shipped. I placed an order last night due to needing some items for next weekend tour so figured by using regular ground shipping I would get items by end of this week or first of next week for sure, got an e-mail this morning from TW stating my order will not ship till next Monday which means i may or may not get my items by next Friday. I called TW and ask what was the deal they said that due to high order volumes their shipping was delayed and that Next day or 2 day shipping items would be shipped out before ground shipping items, being my order was not processed yet i was able to upgrade shipping to 2 day so I will get my order in time. I told them they need to put something on there web page stating this so you can decide if you want to wait almost 2 weeks for your items or upgrade shipping. So if you are placing an order and need it soon you might want to consider 1 or 2 day shipping.

I just got the same thing. They really need to look into their shipping policies. I love their selection but the majority of time their shipping practices leave a lot to be desired.

I did one 2nd day and it was still a week before it got shipped. I called them pretty mad about it. The guy told me that they shipped it 2nd day. I asked why I would have paid 2nd day if I thought it would take 9 working days to get it. He did give me a credit for the 2nd day which was great. But explained that expedited shipping did not mean it would leave their warehouse any sooner. It would just take less time to get there once it got shipped.

The vendor will just tell you that it is out of their hands after it leaves their facility.

I cancelled my last order with TW and I'm not too excited to try again. It was on back order and the item came back in stock, I had to email them to ask where it was and I was put in the back of the queue on shipping.
If I order something on back order I, A) Expect it to ship ASAP, B) Not require me to email them to ask where my stuff is. I called and was told it would be several more days until it shipped and they were annoyed with me inquiring, so I cancelled it right then. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

No as I said in the post, Tackle Warehouse gave me a store credit back for my 2nd day fee when I called them. They understood my grief with the fact that I paid for faster shipping but it didn’t leave the store for a week. But they did say that paying for extra expedited shipping does not insure your package will arrive in that time frame if they are behind getting the packages pulled from warehouse. I was happy with the outcome but learned a lesson about paying for extra shipping.

I've been wanting to order some different colored cranks I found on TW but they are out of stock and the date keeps getting pushed back. The shelves at Academy looks like they are going out of business they are so empty. Crazy how COVID has turned everyone into outdoor, hunting, fishing enthusiasts. Bass Pro has had a good selection but comes with a 20% mark up.

The lakes near me have been getting lots of pressure, mainly from worm and bobber people who don't understand fishing nor fishing etiquette (which is fine, it is what it is.) For Tackle Warehouse, it is quite annoying, so much has been out of stock for months.

Seems like it has been mentioned many times over the last 6 months on many forums. I just ordered from them knowing it would be at least 2 weeks.

I go to a local shop or online from Discount tackle out of Fla. Quick ship and great pricing.

These shipping delays, just like the fuel surcharge, and environmental shop fees, are here to stay. They will not be going away with Covid. They have now become standard operating procedure.
