I caught a 13 inch crappie today on lake Wright patman and I went to weight it and my scale said 2.07 lbs is that pretty much accurate ? Because I looked online at length to weight charts for white crappie and it said a 13 inch crappie should weight much less and if the weight estimator is accurate my rapala lip grip scale is way off [Linked Image]

I would say it could be pretty close. My brother caught one that was a tad over 15 last week there and it went 2.5. They are thick right now. Lol.

Hard to tell from that fish, but it looks closer to 1.75lb fish.

Doesn't look 2 pounds to me but they aren't all built the same! My scales are always light. Some more than others! I like that for tournaments but I wish I had a more accurate one for guide trips! Nice fish either way!

check the scale with a known weight to confirm accuracy
