I hung up one feeder yesterday as a test and sure enough, today I’ve got a hummer!!! Guess it’s time to wash up the rest of the feeders and hang them up. Seems early for the hill country??

Look! Up in the sky. It's a bird. It's a plane. No, it's an EMP!

We have 5 feeders out and waiting anxiously. A little north of Wimberley so it may be a few days.

We put ours out Thursday. Had 2 fly up to the same spots where we hang the feeders every year. Love them hummingbirds.

Reality. What a concept!

Oh, hummingbirds. How can I get more. I had my home built 6 years ago. The first 2 years I had one hummingbird. The next 2 years I had two and these last two years I’ve seen 3 at times but not very often. I have 2 feeders out.

Don’t forget the bluebonnets. Hummingbirds and bluebonnets are now wheelhouse topics...anything but chicks.

Coach, the only thing I know that may help is to have plants that also attract them elsewhere in your landscape-

I have lantana and roses planted, I’ve heard maybe add some honeysuckle?

They do visit my lantana, I don’t have honeysuckle but I hear they do like that.
They visit the roses but don’t seem to feed on them much, but I bet the color helps attract the to your area.
There are many others that have much better luck than I do, hopefully you get a more helpful answer-

I appreciate your input!! There’s someone on here that post a hummingbird migration map. Maybe I can find where I saved it on my iPad.
