Hit me at 50. Never been more out of shape or tired in my life. My G.A.S. meter is constantly on Zero for drama or other peoples problems now. Get off my lawn and leave me the hell alone!

I am 62 YO and getting back into the exercise/fitness mode after some time. I was always active in my main line of work for 34 years. I have no real ongoing aches and pains ( yet ). I think at my age staying active which in my case is motorcycles, getting into kayaking, exercise, hiking etc... and trying to eat decent plays a BIG part. Oh can't leave out the mindset. I live life with glass always half full regardless of the situation. I may be an old but I am not even close to throwing in the towel.

I feel much younger than 50 most of the time. Rarely will I have any real aches or pains. About to get back into my normal fitness routine and I think that helps a lot in feeling good.

At 80 years of age, I look for ways to compensate--especially when I need to work close to the ground or floor:

I started feeling the minor aches and pains, along with some stiffness in the joints at about 69. My body doesn't regulate temps very well, mostly the cold, but at times the heat. But, at 71, I can keep up with most of the younger guys on the ambulance crews.

Was in pretty good shape till a lady thought she could beat the oncoming traffic across a highway. She cleared the truck in the outside lane but not me in the inside lane. I hit her broadside a full highway speed and have never been the same again. That was over 15 years ago and my neck and shoulders still hurt. Now at 65 (soon) I can feel a weather change coming.

Wow-
I have never been involved with something like that, definitely one of those “glad to be alive” situations-
Had to have been horrible-

I just had my 72 day. I am 1/2 retired,I need do something according to my wife.
I have had both hips replaced, left ankle all rebuilt (lots metal in it), in last 6 months both knees replaced, also
left shoulder overhauled. 2 stents in legs. last month had my right corotoid artery cut open and cleaned out.
So im little slower than most olds, but Im still going strong as I can.
I probably should not be alive, between military and my young days dirt tracking and drinking lots, I made it this far.
