Step one: locate sugar momma.

Best advice so far!

My sugar momma is 6 years younger than I am.
She is not rich, I need her to work for me to retire.
I am doubtful of this plan

retired when i reached 65 and been blessed with good health so it has been best 16 years of my life....would have liked to retire sooner but cost of insurance kept me working until i could get on medicare....best advice i can give is try to have everything paid for and cross as many things off your bucket list as soon as you can because after age 65, you're living on borrowed time....

For me my body was telling me it was time, job was getting more physical than I could handle. Luckily for me the wife has a fantastic job which made the decision easier, the scariest part was you don’t get up to go to work and you face the demons of self importance. I still get up extremely early and I’ll dress at times like I’m going to something important. You also value hard working folks trying to make in life even more

That is a very good deal versus what you will pay for insurance on the open market after COBRA is no longer an option. This is the very reason more opt to work until 65 when Medicare is available. Still not free but much more affordable than COBRA or open market insurance.

I'm in with outty on this. Sugar mommas require too much maintenance although Mrs RayBob calls me "Daddy" every now and again

My sugar mama is quite a bit younger then me and banks. I want to tough it out until I turn 62 in 5 more years but may toss in the towel sooner.

Ya done good Raybob!

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

I'm retiring in August of 2022. We don't really have enough money saved to really retire totally so I'll always have to do something part time if I can. It's been a good run...made money, spent it, laughed a lot, luved me some women, saw the world, physically not doing too bad. Just need to get a little boat to fish all the lakes in Florida around Palatka...:) Oh and I hope Flo-rida gets recreational weed....us "olds" need it for all the aches and pains we get.....:)

Started slowing down the business at 65 and finally sold it at 77 and fully retired. Now 81, and doing ok but wife is having some health issues. I wish I had taken a little more time to travel while younger but otherwise I am good. Life is good, always frugal and retired with a secure future. No real worries except health and not much worry there. Gotten kind of lazy so every day I think I will go fishing tomorrow, but always find excuses not to go. Like too windy, too cold, too something.

The trigger point is different for different people. I had always planned to retire at 55 so that I could be young enough to enjoy retirement. The economy crash of 2008/2009 accelerated my ability to retire early as it allowed me to do a lot of investing when the market had bottomed. When I thought I was getting close, I left my full time job and did a fun part-time job, selling hunting and fishing supplies at a sporting goods store. That allowed me to ease into retirement as well as get the employee discount to stock up my toys (guns and fishing supplies). Was able to pull the plug early and retired at 53 and haven't looked back. Bought a few acres in the country and living the good life ever since.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I am almost in the single digit range to retirement age and am well inside it if not waiting until 65.

The insurance seems to be the biggest hindrance to an early retirement. OMG
