In keeping with Moto’s theme about getting softer (or wiser), at what point did you start to consider yourself “old”?

For me, it happened this year after I turned 56. I suddenly considered myself old and realized I would likely die if I actually tried to boat ramp some 30 something like I so often want to do

Felt old when I had to start using a cane to get around due to the worn out joints and bad back around 50 years old. Felt old when I retired at 53 when I retired. But really felt old when I was watching a college football game and the kids looked like they should still be in grade school or high school..

May have to give this till tomorrow to get many replies. I’m sure most of the old farts are asleep by now. May have a few replies for those that check the TFF after their 2am piss.

The fact that you still want to boat ramp a 30 something means your not old.

I’m reading this after waking up for my 12:30 wizz lol-

I made it to 0300, life is good.

I sorta felt old when the prostate cancer almost killed me, I did feel old when I blew out the knee and had to have it replaced.
now I feel old when I wake up at 0300 to take a leak and take a pain pill or 3.

At the age of 73, when I had to have 4 surgeries for various things in a period of about 5 months.

Age 69 when my check engine light came on,heart problems and bladder cancer,75 now I'm still here

Mostly recently was when I just got out of bed. My body hurts most of the time. It sucks....

When coworkers would always ask. " When are you going to retire".

My realization moment was when I had a hip replacement at 63 years old . I will be 65 in2 weeks .
