Fished my 1st tournament with my dad this weekend on lake Tyler and we absolutely sleighed em'
on jerkbaits. Bait fish blowing into some windy points was a pattern we found that was working 15 min after blast off.
Was needing 1 more keeper bass to make a limit for myself (Individual tournament but 2 to a boat) and landed this 2lb5oz Crappie on
a KVD gold and silver jerkbait! I was pumped. Anyways, made for a great day on the water with pops and had a blast!
Keep one tied on this time of year! Enjoy

Nice! Some of the biggest crappie I have ever caught were on a jerkbait or crankbait while bass fishing.
