i had the 1st shot not gonna do the 2nd one Butch I am confused as to why would you get the first one but not get it completed? In for a dime in for a dollar no? i had covid & almost died high blood pressure & could not breathe the 2nd shot is supposed to mimic the virus i don't want to do that again i think the 1 shot will keep me safe Not sure if you got the Pfizer or the Moderna shot, but there is good early news out of the Pfizer one regarding 1 dose effectiveness (79.3%) in people over 80 in the UK. but....but.... I don’t want to move to the U.K.

Had Covid and both Moderna shots. Reactions to both vaccines. Last vaccine I took on a Thursday, felt like poop on Friday, got up Saturday morning and hiked into one of my old white bass fishing holes and had a freaking blast. And while I ain't old, at 57, I ain't as young as I used to be either.

My old man went to bed at 55, and never woke up. Maybe it was just the neighbor's time. Maybe not. We got a finite number of seconds on this old rock, sounds like he made all his count. You all can do what you like. Just had a wake for the neighbor. Took his second shot Monday, complained he felt really bad, his son came and got him and brought him home to Victoria on Tuesday. Had dinner, watched some TV, went to bed. Never woke up.
Yeah, he was 80, but a very active 80. Mowed grass four days a week, fished two days a week, sharp as a pin. No health issues, and now gone.
I truly believe we have no clue how many have severe reactions that aren't reported.

2nd round shot put my FIL down pretty good for a day and then he was back to normal. He's 69.

Good luck to those not getting the vaccine, this is a before and after shots of a pair of lungs. On the left, pre covid 19, the ones on the left are what covid does to them. Your choice. How are your Pfizer holdings looking today Emit? “An important thing to note, though, is that this variant contains the E484K protein spike mutation, which is a big concern as this mutation has been reported to evade the immune system, according to The Star. According to the BMJ, the E484K is called an escape mutation because it helps the virus slip past the body’s immune defenses. This mutation is also present in some UK variants, and so far, the current vaccines only work against that variant without the E484K mutation.” Science can be a cruel teacher.
