Can't find anyone to give the shot in the hip. Every time I have had a flue or pneumonia shot in the arm it was giving me trouble for over a year.

I’m not, nor will I allow my almost 9 year old daughter to be forced into taking the shot just so she’s allowed the privilege of attending school (a mandate that I’m almost positive will be coming soon). God only knows what this “vaccine” can cause to children in the short or long term. Perhaps in 10-15 years, I will go ahead and get this unnecessary shot.
I think the 2 olds who caused me to come into this world are getting it, though. IDK. Whatevs.

Glad to read this because I am on the sidelines on this right now. Had Covid in Dec. I have concerns about the mRNA stuff. But, working with the public when they are sick or injured, in some really nasty sites, I don't want to rely soley on gloves, mask, and a plastic gown. I'm on hold right now on it.

Oh, and my wife, who is a firefighter/ EMT, will not get it unless forced to by SAFD. Hopefully she can get through the next 5 years and retire before they force that [censored] on her.

Wife is a nurse who works the covid floor, she got the shot right when it came out. So did all the rest of the staff. If an entire floor of extremely experienced, educated and seriously professional folks got it then that was good enough for me. My oldest and best of friends who I've known since 3 years old is an oncologist and we fish often. He has explained the vaccine to me in great detail. This will be the future of vaccines. So I got my 1st shot 3 days ago, going off that information. To each his own, everyone is free to make his or her own educated choices. I am totally fine if folks won't take the vaccine. Heck my Mom and her sister have decided not to, they are afraid of the flu vaccine as well. So whatever floats your boat.

What really concerns me is the use of vaccinated and non-vaccinated. What if the government makes a list of said vaccinated individuals that can be accessed by businesses, institutions etc. This could lead to discrimination of non-vaccinated folks. That I am totally against but believe we should be prepared to fight against. Nothing would surprise me from this current leadership we are under. Hypothetical at the most, but still possible.

Our department left it up to personal choice though there is a possibility in future if you get COVID you will not be paid for your time off unless you have sick time. As of now the city has not made any changes and nothing seems to be forthcoming. They have been incredibly supportive whatever choice we have made.

I will get it when ever it's available. May be around May. Right now doing very well. Taking the proper cautions and fishing a lot !

CDC today said at this point more people in the US have had both shots of the vaccine than have had the Virus since last March when this all began.
