Has anyone on a fixed rate electricity plan received a bill encompassing the the winter storm time-frame? Just curious if the pass through TDU charges are unexpectedly/astronomically high? Read that some of us may be in for a rude awakening.

My fixed rate bill (Direct Energy) only went up just 10% over last Feb based on extra usage so in line with expectations (all electric home). Didn’t see any unusual charges.

I have fixed rate on my commercial plan and its negotiated annually in a group we have put together. I haven't seen bill yet but I'm curious.

So they were emailing me a weekly report on my usage and even a $$ per day breakdown. Every week. Have not had one in the last 3 weeks??

Makes me think something is up.

Our bill was $25 higher for 2/3/2021 - 3/5/2021, than it was in January. We used almost 400 more kwh, so that's what it should be. Doesn't look like we had any higher pass through charges. We were on Our Energy, but now they sold our account to Frontier Utilities (did that back in late December, but the change happened on this bill).
