OP stuntmandave Extreme Angler S Joined: Nov 2014 Posts: 1,883 Garland, Tx	I'll be visiting some family a few days at an rv park on the southside of Lake Grapevine. Any tips for fishing from the bank. Smallmouth is still on my bucket list, so that's more of the advice I'm looking for. Or Largemouth. Challenge Accepted. 1st ID 1/26 Infantry OEF XI

Dan90210 ☮ Jr Deputy Dan Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 41,104 Denton County	There are not a ton of SMB in the Vine but its always possible. I have fished the lake a good deal and never caught one. But I have seen them caught. Grapevine is mostly rocks. You could do worse than banging a square bill off all the rocks you can find... they wont be hard to find. If you find some stick ups throwing a baby brush hog in there is not a bad idea. Good luck and let us know how you do!
