Yesterday afternoon I got calls every few minutes from someone saying they were from Apple and my software had been compromised and not to use any Apple devices. I considered it spam and never talked to anyone after listening to their message. I have no Apple devices and only have ITunes on my computer which I never use. Anyone else get similar calls? All the calls were from a different number with same prefix.

No calls here but plenty of apple junk and no troubles yet. Have you googled the phone #s to see if they’re spam #s ?

It's a common scam going on. I posted about it the other day. Scammers are spoofing real businesses and names of people show up on your caller ID instead of just a spoofed number. Everyone needs to be extra cautious and take the time to explain it to older relatives and friends that might be at risk for fraud.

It’s important to give them all of your info.

Got the same multiple calls all Thursday afternoon. Left a VM each time about my “Apple devices”. Ignored them.

Android tells you they are spam. Probably Trump though if I were to guess.

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

I get an email every few weeks saying my Apple ID was locked and I need to reset my password via link provided. Key is the email it’s sent to is not my apple email, it’s nowhere associated with my apple account. 😂
