OP sandegr Extreme Angler S Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 1,019 Colleyville, TX, USA	Tough bite today, but got the right TWO bites. Broke my personal best with a 2.64. Then later in the day I got the bite I think most crappie fishermen dream of.......3.21 pounds. I honestly thought I had a big catfish once the fish bit and started stripping drag. All of our jaws kind of hit the floor when the fish hit the deck of the boat. I knew it was pushing 3 pounds when Froebe grabs this fish and says this is BIG. When he said, "DON'T FORGET TO TIP THE GUIDE!!!" after he looked at the scale I knew it was 3 plus. Fish was 17" long with a 16" girth. Both fish we released to fight another day. Pretty cool to share it with two guys I call friends and have seen 1000s of crappie hit the deck of the boat to have one of the biggest now. I'll leave it to Forebe if he wants to disclose the lake. Let's DO IT!
