I recently replaced the winch strap on my Kenner bay boat.
I noticed over the month i moved it around that the strap kept showing stretch asI was constantly winching the boat back to the roller.
This last weekend i took it to Fayetteville 90 mile trip and when I was ready to launch the retainer clip on the front was bent out of the way and the boat was again 2 inches off the roller.
I thought would ask the group who makes the best strap. This one came from bass pro shops

It make not be stretching as much a it is looseness in the coils on the winch wheel. Try running the strap all the way out and winch the boat up on a shallow trailer or some other way to tighten the wraps.

^^^This^^^

If it wasn't wound tightly on the winch then its just slowly cinching it up every time you use it. After a few times it will take a set and stop coming loose.

Thanks Guys, i thought of that and it is the only thing that makes sense.
Still need to replace it now since the keeper flipper thing twisted on the road trip.
