I just picked up a Shimano curado 70 HG MGL and I am now on the hunt for a weightless fluke/weightless senkos and plastics rods. Should I get a medium or meadium heavy? Fast or moderate tip? And how long? I was thinking 7 to 7,3 Iโ€™m length. TIA

MH fast. Set the hook hard with those flukes, if they ball up, you gotta go through a lot of plastic.

MH phenix rod....i like lighter actions/tips on JB type rods cuz i think they end up being more foregiving when it comes to getting the hook into the fish

edit:
some phenix rods have shorter butts too which I personally like for JBs

I have a 6'10 MN TFO rod which has has been great for flukes. I had to replace an eyelet and I donโ€™t care for the new eyelet. I am gonna check out a dobyns 683 or 684
