Saw where the ERCOT CEO was fired.....but he gets 8 weeks to remain in position to teach the next CEO how to do it,

yeah, he at least turned down his golden parachute, 800k for screwing the entire state of Texas would not have looked very good.

He and the others are just being setup to be the patsy in all of this.
I guarantee you they'll all land on their feet down the road after things cool off. If replacing the ERCOT members winds up being the major shakeup here, you'll be shivering in the cold or baking without AC on a 110 degree day soon enough.

The more I read on this in the news the worse it sounds. Very high earning board who simply did not do their jobs. It would very interesting to know if any of them lost power at their own homes during the storm/outage I am pickning they did not. A complete cluster from A to Z hopefully this will bring on serious reform.

Not wanting to start a fight but what exactly did ERCOT do that you have issues with? Their job as I understand it is to manage and protect the grid. They do not have control over the generation. They safely distribute what power is available. If you're a gas station owner and the refineries don't produce fuel for you to sell is that your fault?
