Many years ago while fishing early one morning without hitting up a taco shack before hand a friend and I thought "Wouldn't it be great if there was a taco delivery place on the water?"
Then we thought "WE could be the taco delivery place"
Then of course we thought "Some anglers would be pretty pissed at being interrupted."
Then of course we got to "we could post our phone number at the ramp and the anglers could call us for delivery when they wanted."

If you had the option of someone delivering breakfast tacos, drinks, coffee, whatever, on the water would you use it?

I didn't lose him at the boat. I shook him off cause I didn't want my hands to get "fishy"

Yes but could you have it dropped off by drone so you don't spook my fish?

Oh goodness, golf cart girls coming soon to a lake near you. I wish you well and good luck, it will probably work.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

Are they wrapped in Alum. Foil or paper? Asking for a friend; because he will need paper about an hour later.

Beer delivery on the water but a girl in a short skirt... maybe.

A dude brining me tacos? maybe not. And I LOVE tacos.

I'd prefer a drive thru or a hand off at the ramp or a dock.

My buddy and I were talking about this on Amistad years ago. A pontoon boat where we sold brisket and drinks, but only during big tournaments where it was worth the trouble.

Oh and we weren’t delivering, thats insane.

Grand had a pontoon that sold drinks and snacks a few years back, haven't seen it in a while. They would hit up the party coves.

^^ This.. I would like to have lunch delivered to me at the ramp for example.

When I fished in Florida in the Late 90's early 2000's there was many a pontoon boat with grills that was selling food on the water. They would slowly cruise around the lake and you would have to engage/dock up to them for food or drinks.

There was a guy down at Port O'Connor years ago, may still be there I don't know, he had like a food truck on a pontoon boat, cooked and delivered hamburgers and such. I never used it but it seemed like a cool idea.

One of the marinas at Tawakoni (I think) had a drive through for boats back in the 80's. It did a pretty good business.

Do not think it will work. Just my two cents. 2cents

Side Note: A food truck at the boat ramp or park entrance is another story. I would think something like that would work. thumb

I’ve though about this several times before. If this were a thing I would definitely buy food.

One of the funniest and coolest deliveries is boiled peanut delivery at Crab Island in Destin. The times we have seen (and bought) them, was a young kid in about an 8-foot aluminum flat bottom boat.

Be safe,
