I’m a last minute sub captain on Ray Robert’s this weekend.

I would appreciate any navigation information.

No fishing information allowed.

I’ve been on the lake once in someone else’s boat.

Any guide lanes for purchase?

Idle only if you go north of wolf island. The main lake is mostly clear from the bridges on the west side all the way around to wolf island.

To answer your question, there are no "guide lane" chips for Roberts. As has been mentioned, if you do not know the lake, stay south of Wolf Island. There are a lot of fish in those waters.

Beyond the line at Wolfe, do not run on plain past any telephone poles at the mouths of other creeks or main lake pockets!

And swing wide on the points on the West arm and the main point where the two arms come together. There are a few that are pretty shallow and can catch you by surprise. Water is still pretty cold, have fun!!

See you on the lake and have a great day!

If you scroll down on this thread there is a picture that has marked off areas on a map that I believe to be pretty accurate

Only 1 cut lane in the lake, coming out of buck creek and it just stops at the submerged railroad tracks.

When the water is down there is one stump you can see just on the North side of the lane about 75 yards from the tracks. It is a big one, and just out of sight when the water is normal depth. Everyone be careful this weekend with the kids in the boats, water is still dang cold!

See you on the lake and have a great day!
