Interested in hiring a guide for 2 eight year old's that are experienced anglers. They are very capable of throwing either casting or spinning rods and are used to fishing all day. Dad's would follow guide boat but stay back, just be in the vicinity. This is about the boys.
The date would be Saturday March 13, 2021 on Lake Fork. I understand this is late to book, but we thought we would give it a try.
Thanks

Lance Vick or Zach Hughes, I’d bet they are both booked solid.

Eric Wright or Jason Conn for the win.
Eric is just a big kid himself. (Still a great stick) I've heard from multiple people that carried youngsters with him and the feedback was excellent. Jason is just a hammer and all around good guy. He also has a good rep for dealing with young fishermen.

I’d think looking for a bad weather day around then where someone might cancel, the good guides are booked way in advance.

Try James Caldemeyer. He’s probably booked but he would be my first call.

Maybe one that’s really good at live-scope? Jk kinda, but those guys mentioned are great and so is Richie White-works well with kids.

Spoke with Eric Wright, he was booked on that date but was kind enough to suggest a few other guides. Enjoyed talking to Eric and hopefully we will be able to use him in the future.
All the guides we talked to were booked (we new it was a long shot) so we are aborting that plan.
I do have a question: In this situation when our 8 year old's are on the guide boat and we are following them (just in the general vicinity, to keep an eye on our kids). Do you think a trail boat fee should be charged?
