Courage - knowing something will hurt and still doing it.
Stupidity - knowing something will hurt and still doing it.

That’s why life is difficult

I would say that there are a few people that are susceptible to being influenced by violent video games because they are already defective, I wouldn’t venture a guess on a percentage though. For normal people, I don’t think these games turn them into killer car jackers

They are. And the ones that are rated for adults they will not sell you without an ID.

Age confirmation required to purchase downloads of them even.

None, as proven by multiple studies. Politicians continue to blame video games for issues in their own districts that are usually a result of their own policies. It’s an extremely lazy argument. Also, Chicago was just voted most corrupt city in the country. Chicago sucks as a result of its decades of political choices.

It (video games and violence) isn’t that complicated. Violence is a complicated, multifaceted issue, but video games are a lazy place to apply blame, just like Black Sabbath and Reefer Madness were hatchet jobs. Video games ARE rated like movies. Retailers volunteer to not sell M-rated video games to minors, just like movie theaters, and it’s a pretty serious issue, but just like movie theaters, there are cracks. The ESRB rates games just like movies are rated. The issue is, parents don’t take the time to learn the rating system or even take five seconds to research the game they’re buying their kid. It’s very simple and works just like movie theaters.

I agree they shouldn’t be banned. In fact, they’re protected under the first amendment.

This is a rehash of the 70s and 80s when I grew up.....Play Ozzy or Black Sabbath LPs backwards and it has satan messages.... Some kid commits suicide and they blame it on the records, same stupid thing here.

No one person is to blame even with a screwed up head, its always something else they have to put the blame on. .

Exactly. Personal responsibility is a thing of the past. Mental health is abused by both sides and it’s gross.
