Just wondering if anyone that fishes the bank has any success using A-Rigs from shore. Seems like it's more of a boat bait and don't want to spend the 20$ to find out. Thanks.

what are you targetting? the road runner bang shad buffet rig is similar to an A-rig, but has only 2 hooks with a roadrunner style jighead/blade attached instead of the 4+ points to attach lures that are usually on A-rigs. I picked mine up from Academy for $4 a pop, so not much of a heartbreak compared to snagging a $15+ A rig. mind you, these buffet rigs are meant for soft plastics to be attached in the 2-3 inch range.

There are also some cheap umbrella rigs on Amazon. Ive found them for $7 for one and as cheap as 3 rigs for $15.

you can also make them yourself out of wire. i don't know specifically about what gauges works best but I've made a couple from miscellaneous wires around the house. they look very janky though!
